The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to see why it's received praise from its customers. It's incredibly light - both the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg and it's easy to construct. In fact, I was able to put it up and running in less than five minutes, which is pretty amazing given that it included attaching the fabric for the carrycot!
It has a lovely wide seat that was comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is very simple to use. There's a good amount of space inside the basket and I am awestruck by the fact that it has a zip-up compartment in the handle bar so that you can keep your keys and phone safe!
The only downside is that the handlebar is quite low, which can be an issue for parents who are taller. However, it's encased in a gorgeous leather-like material that is soft and comfortable and cleans down easily, meaning it's still easy to push even with bags and children on your hands!
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is designed for parents who like to explore and are always on the go. The large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on field and forest paths, and the front wheel can be rotated and locked to give you more flexibility. The stroller comes with a 5-point safety harness with a front bar that keeps your child safe on all journeys. The parking brake will keep the stroller on its feet while you take a rest. The seat can be repositioned to a laying position and the canopy can be opened maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate mum or dad.
The Runner will accompany you on your next adventure whether it's a short walk, a longer hike or a long distance trek. It features a completely flat lay-flat seat with suspension air wheels to ensure a smooth ride. The front wheel is lockable for greater stability on narrow streets and congested sidewalks, and the stroller folds easily to fit in car boots and storage spaces.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Additionally the locking system (requiring two buttons on either on either side of the handlebar) isn't as user-friendly. The handlebar is a little higher than the ones of competitors', so it might not suit shorter parents, but overall this is a sturdy and versatile stroller that is worthy of consideration for families with active kids.

Red Kite's Pace is a fantastic product from the budget-friendly British brand. They are renowned for their simple, well-designed products that are essentials for parents. It's the most recent and most expensive version of their bargain light stroller range and, like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo, is car seat adaptable so that you can use it from the beginning (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace has some fantastic design elements, including rose-gold hues on the hood, chassis and stroller trims, which really distinguish it from. The cream, grey, and tan fabrics on the stroller and the car seat are super stylish and there is an option to add a co-ordinating leather handle for the cover and bumper bar too.
The stroller seat can be used from birth up to 22kg. It easily converts into a reversible 2-in-1 position, either facing the parent or world-facing. The stroller seat comes with multiple lie-back positions, softly padded legs rests and an extendable sun canopy with concealed zip sections with a view-through flap, and a retractable visor.
When folded, the Pace measures 56 inches x 43cm and 32 inches, which makes it suitable for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. Two buttons on either side are easy utilize and press to lock it in the right position.
Bugaboo Fox 5
Created to be the ultimate all-terrain pushchair, Bugaboo's latest Fox 5 promises to do it all. Its unique chassis comes with a shorter wheel width, making it more manoeuvrable than its predecessor.
